Mondi wants to think about sustainability right from the product development stage.
Paper in the cycle: Mondi wants to think about sustainability right from the product development stage.

25.3.2021 The new one is called “MAP2030” Sustainability plan by Mondi, who sets the course for the packaging and paper group for the coming decade. The company, based in London and Vienna, announces improvements along the entire value chain and names three fields of action: Under "Circular Driven Solutions", Mondi wants to develop new packaging and paper solutions so that all products can be reused, recycled or composted by 2025 . Under “Created by Empowered People”, Mondi names, among other things, the goal of increasing the proportion of women in the company from 2030 to 21 percent by 30. And under “Taking Action on Climate” it is important to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with science-based climate protection goals and to sustainably manage the important raw material supplier forest. Incidentally, Mondi also wants to share its know-how with others: The group recently started working with the World Food Program. As part of a three-year strategic partnership, Mondi wants to support the humanitarian aid organization in reducing food and packaging waste.
