A delicate plant growing out of an organic coffee mug, including “100 percent nature” and “The zero waste promise” in large letters - that's how it turned out Cover of the magazine Der Spiegel recently presented. As a megatrend, Zero Waste is discussed in many places, at the same time there is a whiff of the future floating around the topic - in the context of a circular economy in which all waste becomes recyclable, it could already set the tone today. In any case, the technological prerequisites are in place, and the chances of a waste-neutral economy are enormous. Ultimately, it takes visionary entrepreneurs like Johann Christofpolishing green technology connectivity, initiatives like the Lab of Tomorrow that enrich our thinking about entrepreneurial innovation, and policymakers setting conducive regulatory frameworks. The necessary commitment is growing in many places - now the tender plant must quickly become a strong tree.
