World Bank grows in Vienna

The World Bank is significantly expanding its Vienna location. The announced Minister of Finance Hartwig Löger after talks in Washington. The multinational development bank, which recently appointed US American David Malpass as its new chief, will double its Vienna staff to around 250 employees. The main focus of the enlarged Vienna office is to be the Western Balkans. In the future, employees of the International Monetary Fund will be working in the Galaxy Tower on Vienna's Praterstrasse, setting up a new branch in Vienna.
