With the “Found!” Program, the Deloitte Future Fund searches every year for social start-ups that support refugees on the often difficult path to work. One of the six “Found!” Participants in 2020 is the start-up The Connection, which teaches young people language, school and social skills. FoodStories in turn employs refugees over 40 as cooks and cooking teachers and ÖkonoWie? makes refugees and migrants fit for the job market by imparting business knowledge.
The six start-ups will initially receive help themselves: They will be accompanied by experts from Deloitte and the Impact Hub Vienna for several months in optimizing their business models. A jury of experts then selects the two most promising participants in order to support them financially and through pro bono advice.
